Deputy Minister of European Integrations Lirak Celij, hosted Croatia's Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, today, as well as Antun Herceg, responsible for the EU candidate countries of this ministry, with whom he discussed opportunities for co-operation along the EU integration process.
“We assess that the only way for our safe future is European integration. We are committed to the EU's enlargement plan, in the six countries of the Western Balkans, to be achieved as soon as possible. We have proven our readiness that all international obligations will be implemented, and we will also contribute to regional peace”, Mr. Ottencoi. Celaj, adding that the region must receive sufficient attention from the EU.
Kosovo from the EU countries expects support during the assessment of the process not only for visa liberalisation, but for other achievements, having the same approach as with the up-to-date aspiring countries in the process, Mr. mentioned. Celaaj and added that Kosovo appreciates support from Croatia over Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
Miroslav the pope, assistant minister of foreign affairs and European affairs, praised Kosovo's achievements, stressing that Croatia will continue supporting Kosovo towards European integration. He also offered expert support for this process and the experiences of this friendly country of Kosovo.
Interstate relations, appreciated at the meeting, are excellent, through integration processes, they will be strengthened further, exchanging experiences from the process, as well as comprehensive support for Kosovo from Croatia and international institutions.
