The Kosovo Police Action, according to Limaj, aims at striking down the organised crime network in which several police officials have been involved.
Limaj has said Kosovo institutions are committed to fighting organised crime across the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. He has invited the country's citizens to remain calm, while police officers injured in this action have wished them quick recovery.
Limaj's full response:
“Today, Kosovo Police are conducting a police operation in several different regions of the country, including municipalities Zvecan, Zubin Potok, Leposavic, North Mitrovica, South Mitrovica, Skenderaj and Drenas. The Kosovo Police Action is aimed at striking the organised crime network, in which several police officials have been involved. Kosovo institutions are committed to fighting organised crime across the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. I invite the citizens of the country to remain calm, while the officers injured in this action wish them quick recovery of”, Limaj wrote.
