French Senator Helen Conway-Mouiret in her Twitter account has published the answer by France's Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
“Finance, along with several other member states, believes at this stage not all conditions have been met. In the area of rule of law, little progress has been made recently but not enough to stop corruption. Continued reforms are necessary to influence rule of law and the fight against organised crime. New laws that must be passed should be immediately and consistently replaced”, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs says in its response.
Senator explained that she regrets the lack of ambition and courage from the French state. “There are no signs in the ministry's response that the legitimate expectations of Kosovo's population, which are treated equally with other Western Balkan peoples, have not been taken into account”, Conway-Moouret wrote.
