From June 15th, there will be no roting between Kosovo and Albania

This reduction will bring immediate positive effects on citizens of the two countries (from where there will be a reduction of about 90% of the current cost of the use of radio phones in roaming), and then the full removal of rotor fees for citizens of the two countries, starting on July 1st 2021.
Within the framework of the implementation of the Agreement to abolish the prices of roting services for public networks of mobile communications between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania, signed in Pec on 26.11.2018, on May 11th, 2019 in Tirana, the joint gathering of the ARKEP Steering Board and the AKEP Steering Council was organised in connection with the process of reducing their tariffs and full removal for the Kosovo and Albanian citizens under this agreement.
During the meeting, it was discussed the benefits the citizens of the two countries will have on the full reduction and removal of the roting services tariffs, which will apply to the principles of the model previously applied by European Union countries “Role At Home (RLAH)”.
In full respect of the two sides' inter-state agreement agreed that the process of reducing tariffs will begin from June 15th 2019 initially through application of the “model RLAH+”
