It's about 5,400 iOS app monitors who collect data without the knowledge of users, and it usually happens at night when the phone is quiet for a long time or when it is not in use for certain reasons. These apps take the data from your device and send it to the third parties, known as “Ampliude”, “Appboy” and “Demdex”.
The scope of collected data is broad, including sensitive information such as email, phone numbers, IP addresses, exact location...nets.
According to technology experts' investigations, data collected by these profitable companies reached 1.5 gigabyts in total, which for some users could equal half the monthly distribution of data. As it comes to the uncertainty of the iPhone, all the weight falls on the Apple Company, which had so far been described as one of the safest clients' privacy worldwide.
