The survivors of cruelty must be treated with respect, dignity and sensitivity. Kosovo leaders must help the victims, and not exploit them for political benefit”, Costett wrote on his official twitter.
Flora Brovina is present today at the Prosecutor's Office, and has been interviewed in the quality of the witness, following the publication of the photograph he took yesterday at the Kosovo Assembly.
She has said she can't believe such a photograph could be forged, showing she has had it since 2003.
She says she had given it to former LDK delegation, who at the time held the post of deputy chairman of the Commission to Exile Mevlyde Saraci.
In the meantime, Vasfije Krasniqi-Goodman, who has also reacted, as Ambassador Costett has urged that war victims not be exploited for political gain.
“Makes the heart” burst, Krasniqi said, among other things, in a response.
And the whole scandal comes after an extraordinary organisation, when Krasniqi, along with Jahjaga, had stayed at the US Congress to testify about the horror she had experienced by Serbian forces during the last war in Kosovo.
