Johnny Depp accused his former wife, Amber Heard, of coloring her egos until denying that he had physically abused her, in a document stemming from the court.
Hollywood actors, Depp and Heard were married in 2015 before their bitter divorce two years later, with both accusing each other of violence. After Herd had made an op-ed at the Washington Post in December of last year, describing himself as the victim of violence by Deppi, he filed a slander indictment demanding $50m in compensation from it.
Deppi, 55, had written in his statement: “I denied Miss Heard's accusations in a hurry since he made them in May 2016 when he went to court with signs of bruises made himself for which witnesses and cameras show he had no... I'll keep denying for the rest of my life. ”
Further, he added: “I never abused Miss Heard or any other woman.” Depp further claimed that the aggressor in their relationship had been exactly his former wife, Amber Heard.
She was the aggressor and I was the victim. When she took drugs and alcohol, she practiced a large number of acts of violence against me, often even in the presence of other witnesses, who in some cases caused me serious bodily injury. ”
