Kosovo football player Arton Zekaj will soon wear Kosovo's lantern. This will be made possible after the FIFA intervention.
The 19-year-old has so far represented Serbia in the new age groups.
Kosovo's national manager U21, Zgjim Soeva, has declared for Indexline that Serbia has until the end of the week to give the paper.
“FIFA has asked Serbia to give Zakiaj permission to play for Kosovo. If they don't respond by the end of the week, Zekij automatically gains the right to play for Kosovo” Soeva said about Indexline.
Kosovo talent plays for the French team Leelle.
Currently, he complains of an injury, however, he will probably be available to Kosovo U21 for future matches against Andorra and Turkey that take place in June.
