Cyprus was the first country to open today's Eurovision night.
41 countries will participate in the 64th edition of “Eurovision Song Contest”, where, after two semifinals to be held Tuesday and Thursday, 26 of them will be part of Saturday's big final on May 18th, Coha.net broadcast.
We remember that this year's Eurovision was actually not a little controversial because of where it would be held. There have been numerous appeals to competitors and broadcasters for his boycott, due to Israel's controversial record of human rights.
Ukraine has withdrawn from the competition after praising Israel as an inappropriate place to organise this edition, while Bulgaria does not participate for financial reasons.
Albanian singer Angela Perister, earlier announced that she will be part of the Albanian jury along with Winda Libohova, Dylan Reka, Yulka Grammon and Gent Rushin.
Eurovision this year is being presented by world-renowned model Bar Rafael as well as Erez Tal, Assi Azar and Lucy Ayoub.
