A South Korean court today approved the issuance of arrest warrants at the prosecution's request against two vice presidents of émsung Electronics alleged of accounting fraud, but refused to issue such an order for the head of the pharmaceutical branch of the conglomerate, the agency”Yonspace” reported.
Seoul's central district court deemed elements insufficient for prosecution against Samsung BioLogics general director Kim Daeh-han, suspected of destroying evidence in 2015, according to Yonha.
Samsung BioLogics is one of the world's largest pharmaceutical subcontracture contractors and one of the top ten companies in South Korea. Last year, the South Korean Financial Services Commission (FSC) charged him with fraud of overexploring the value of one of its beginnings to enter the stock market in 2015.
The court already approved two arrest warrants against Samsung Electronics' two executive vice presidents -- the main branch of the conglomerate -- for manipulation and destruction of evidence in the same case, Yonpha reports, but without specifying the names of suspects.
