Albanian singer takes birth test, shocks by result

The singer of Albanian origin living in Greece, Eleni Foureira, has made the Heritage test, which issuing background and origin.

While in Israel for Eurovision, she took the DNA test to learn details of ethnic and racial origin.

The results were shocking to the singer himself.

The manager of the Heritage company, which is Eurovision sponsor, said Eleni Fouureira has 68.9% Greek origin.

Another part is from southern Italy.

Southern Italy? I don't know what to say... ”, the singer Foureira said after she learned the results of the Heritage test.

Eleni expected about 50% of its origin to be from the Balkans, but that figure was only 29..8%.

Eleni Fouureira has emigrated at an early age with her family to Greece, where she grew up and developed her career as a successful singer.

It has publicly acknowledged Albanian origin. Last year Fouureira represented Cyprus at Eurovision and ranked second.
