A perfumer in the United Arab Emirates claims to have created the most expensive perfume in the world.
His name is “Shamukh”, which in Arabic means “You deserve sublimen”, and the price is $1,295,000 per 3 litre.
Producers say the perfume is the result of three years of research and 494 experiments on achieving the best smell.
It comes with a bottle of Italian crystal “Murano”, decorated with a gold hawk, Arabian horses, roses and a globe, has a total of 3,571 diamonds, totaling 38.55 carats, giant pearls, 2.5 kilograms of pure gold 18 carats, and 5,9 kg of silver.
The huge bottle lies in a leather wrap about six feet [2 m] high. The perfume creators say it has components coming from different parts of the world, including sandal wood, a kind of Turkish rose, a special Indian wind, while the animals presented there tell Dubai's story.
