The young man risked his life after part of his cotton stick remained in his hearing channel. He started to feel pain in his left ear at first, and then after ten days, he began to have headaches, nausea, and vomiting, and he did not remember people's names.

In fact, the ear pains for him were not unknown, because over the past five years he had suffered pain in his left ear, lost hearing, and twice had been treated for severe infection.

So he underwent surgery during which he was removed from a stick that was thought to have been blocked for years and therefore caused problems.
