Mujka, who at the same time is deputy mayor in Mitrovica, has been driven out for the reason she has not kept promises.
In a video published on the social network, residents of this area are heard saying they have been tired of unfulfilled promises for 20 years.
“Faruk, what have you been saying for a year, what have you been talking about? ”, ask one of the citizens.
But despite his desire to reason, the residents did not allow him to pay their respects, and they drove him from the memorial tablets of the massacre where 31 residents were executed by Kovacs' Company.
I understand their frustration that even after 20 years, graves are not closed, and among the main reasons is delayed justice, and the culprits for this massacre have not yet been arrested. The municipality plans to come up with residents to find an ideal solution that they would then implement, not wanting to get into a moment of what we are now”, Mujka said.
And family members said 20 years ago that numerous members of the family were killed, but that the memorial plaque was made by themselves and that the municipality for 20 years continues to declare similarly, that it will do something about these victims of war.
This is a take from them because we have to honour us every day not only on April 14, that we always see this plaque that we've done, that the municipality has done nothing”, one of the family said.
