In February, Repka was sentenced to 15 months of freedom since he sold a 46,500-euro Benz-type vehicle that was not, in fact, owned by him but rented it.
The president of the Court of Appeals, Petr Benes, explained that for such a crime, the law envisioned 2 years in prison, and “had no reason to issue an easier sentence. We have not ascertained anything unusual for Repka to benefit from reduced punishment. ”
It's not the first time Thomas Repka is in trouble with the law. In August 2018 he was sentenced to six months in prison (conversiond to test service) for publishing an escort service announcement showing his ex-wife in the photo, accompanied by her telephone number. Also in 2015 and 2016, he was detained in police after driving a drunk car. He has received another conviction for failing to tarnish financial obligations to his ex-wife.
