After Albanian soldiers walked a few days ago in the northern part of Mitrovica and the announcement that several hundred Albanian soldiers will be deployed in northern Kosovo pose a threat to the security of Serbs.
So said the chairman of the so-called Parliamentary Commission for Kosovo in Serbia's Assembly, Milovan Drescu.
Drescu told TV Pink that there is no confirmation of the information that more than a hundred Albanian soldiers will be deployed to KFOR, but that it is not excluded from that happening.
Days ago, NATO officers, accompanied by KFOR, had a training activity in the north, part of which were soldiers also from Albania and which sparked the reaction of Serbs.
KFOR, who stressed that the presence of four Albanian officers in northern Mitrovica, should not surprise anyone because Albania is a NATO member, was also declared on the issue.
This security organisation argued that the situation in the north and throughout Kosovo is under control and there is no sign of violent unrest, the Kosovo Clan broadcasts.
