The candidate for president in northern Macedonia, Blerim Reka, continued the campaign in Gostivar tonight.
During the rally, Reka said that at the core of the campaign lies the Republic against the seized and private state and the Republic with prospects against the empty state.
The state is not a private property, but an inheritance of all its citizens as equals. The Republic does not know democracy meant for statistical nationals, which are allowed as rights as percent are. In the Republic, there are no rights because they are natural rights as citizens of this state, rather than the disrepute of power deciding who, when, and how many rights, will be allowed”, Reka said.
He said membership in international organisations is not mandatory, but voluntary, and that Macedonians decide for themselves whether they will become part of them.
“As the EU draws value, and NATO security creates a general perspective in the country, draws foreign investors to come in and prevents citizens from leaving”, Reka followed.
The president's candidate declared that lack or perspective cleared for a quarter of the North Macedonia population, while his warnings suggest that by 2030 the remaining quarter of the population could escape.
The lack of perspective brings not only unemployment but also citizens' fatigue from nepotism and corruption. From the lack of rule of law and the politicised judiciary. There is no perspective as well when the country has been among the most polluted in the world”, Reka said.
