Mr. Gaido, who declared himself acting president of the country in January, who was recognised by the United States and Kosovo, called on more members of the military to assist him in the “usurpation” of power Maduro, reports the BBC, translates Periscopi.
The army has so far supported Mr. Maduro and refused Mr. Gaido.
The Spanish government's spokeswoman called against “bleeding” in Venezuela. “Spain does not support any military stamp,” said Isabel Cela, looking for a peaceful solution to the Venezuelan conflict.
