Article 23 paragraph 1, of this law, envisions “for the tax year 2019 and the next tax years, taxes and fines are paid in two installments [...]
The Pristina municipality has reminded all citizens that the new property tax law has changed, and therefore deadlines for paying taxes on property.
Article 23 paragraph 1, of this law, envisions “for the 2019 tax year and the next tax years, taxes and fines, paid in two equal installments, by 30 April and 30 September of the tax year”.
Consequently, previous payment deadlines -- 30 June and 31 December of the tax year -- are no longer valid.
“All taxpayers pray to respect the new legal deadlines, in order not to apply the initial interest and penalties to the legal provisions in power”, the Pristina municipality's announcement said.
