Pristina municipality praised as most transparent municipality in Kosovo

The Kosovo Democratic Institute in co-operation with the USAID project “Transparent Corporation, Effects and Accounting” has measured transparency in all Kosovo municipalities.
The institute has praised municipalities through 43 standard-based methodology indicators designed by Transparency International, which divides into major pillars; public procurement, budgetary transparency, access to public documents, information and public participation, grants and financing; professional ethics and conflict of interest.
Community run by Shpend Ahmeti i The PSD, it is the only one that has shown maximum transparency in all indicators, taking 100 out of 100 overall points.
In public procurement, the Pristina municipality has received 30 points out of 30 points, with which cases it can be found. KDI praises the Commission's decision to publish Public Documents, “Declaration of Riches” of the chairmanship and assembly members, etc.
Even in Transparency Buzhetre, 25 of the 25 points has been estimated that the Pristina municipality is the best municipality in this area.
Transparency on the third pillar “returned to public documents” is also at the maximum level.
