At the general government meeting that was held today, Deputy Prime Minister Dardan Gashi has demanded from the Serbian List to distance himself from the statements by officials from this party, about the massacre of Recak.
Diaspora Minister Dardan Gashi proposed that, in addition to the criminal aspect intended to bring the condemnation of those who deny the genocide, the Kosovo government must ask from the Serbian List, to distance itself from the insults of its official, Ivan Todosojevic, who made it days ago, Albanians and the massacre of Recak.
Besides supporting the initiative of Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj, in countries like Germany and Austria, it is a criminal offence to deny genocide. Those who denied the crimes that happened in Kosovo, we have colleagues here in the government. There should therefore be a clear distance from a political party in the government, to these statements making to their exhibitors, in addition to criminal aspect”, said Deputy Prime Minister Dardan Gashi.
However, surprisingly, Gashi's request has been ignored by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said that distanceing the Serbian List from statements by former Deputy Prime Minister Todosijevic, who was placed in that post exactly as a member of the Serbian List, is another topic, not proceeding with the request of Deputy Prime Minister Gashi, writes Periskopi.
These are two themes. You've come out a little bit of a topic, that we can then discuss other political acts, but as far as Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj's proposal is concerned, that the government make a decision to draft the legal base, that is, authorise the justice ministry. If there is someone with discutu we can discutu, if not we go to the polls”, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said.
On the 20th anniversary of the Recak Massacre, Ivan Todosijevich, publicly offended and insulted Albanians, except for the last war in Kosovo. He said Albanians are terrorists and the Rakak massacre has been fiction.
Because of aggression in our country has been the so-called humanitarian catastrophe in Kosovo and Metohija, forged Recak, and it was they -- the terrorists who have invented all of this -- have committed the worst crimes in Kosovo and Metohija for which no one has responded until today. They committed crimes prior to NATO aggression, killed good domestic Serbs and policemen in their jobs. Their bloody trend continued even during aggression, and after the so-called peaceful mission in Kosovo and Metohija”, had declared the already dismissed Minister of the Haradinaj Government, Ivan Todosijevic, during a rally in Zvecan to mark the 20th anniversary of NATO's bombings on Serb targets.
And, as the Serbian List has not yet been distanced from this statement, Serbian President Alexander Vuciq supported it.
He during yesterday's day, said Todosijevic has told the truth, as he again denied the crimes committed in Kosovo, saying that “Masacre of Recak was fiction by William Walker”.
According to him, Kosovo authorities are wanting Serbs to ban free thought, adding that Todquqiq was dismissed only because he told the truth about Recak, though, as he says, today everyone knows Recak's massacre was the factory by William Walker.
It's as if it were the good guys who fought for freedom, as if Todosijevic had killed 19 witnesses, not someone else. He has said something that doesn't like the Albanian criminal lobby...”, Vuciq has said among other things.
This is not the first time that Serbian List officials -- the ruling party in Kosovo and the Serb community's largest -- have offended the Albanian history, especially the last period of war in the country.
Before Todosijevic, there was Vesna Mikic, who also held the post of deputy minister who again offended Albanians.
Both one of the highest officials in the Serbian List and Mikiq called Albanians terrorists.
In addition, in the past government, led by Mustafa, it had been Oliver Jablanovic, who insulted blood-blooded mothers, who have their sons still missing from the war of the years of 1998-99 in Kosovo.
For all of this, the Serbian List has never distanced itself from statements by their party officials.
