Thanks to the exchange of good information and cooperation with citizens, several weeks of investigation has been conducted and two suspected persons have been identified and arrested today in 10,04,2019:
- a Kosovo male/Albanian with the initials (A.A.) and
-a Kosovo female/Serbian with initials (L.S.),
on suspicion based on committing criminal acts involving “falsification of official document” Article 434, “The special documents for counterfeiting” from Article 399, “fraud” from Article 335 and “Legalisation of false content” from Article 403 KPRK's.
High-initiated initial suspects are allegedly misusing documents, diplomas, etc., in order to have the polylicins licensed at the Ministry of Health.
Following the development of intensive and professional investigations by Kosovo Police -- namely, the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crime and Corruption -- the regional entity in Pristina has a suspicion based on the conduct of the aforementioned Criminal Acts.
During the investigation, all professional evidence has been addressed. The prosecutor of the case (at PTH-Pristina), who has been notified of all actions undertaken by the Regional Unit for investigating economic crimes and corruption in Pristina (NJRHKEK), has also been consulted. We've been instructed to do a joint check with the Health Ministry's Health Inspectorate in order to verify and verify the actual state of doubt.
Today by 10,04,2019, the Operational Plan has been implemented “Policinka”, which has resulted in the required findings, and so investigative officials have seized documentation as material evidence. After the search was completed, Polyklinika in question was closed by the Health Inspectorate of the Health Ministry.
While police investigators, in co-ordination with the prosecutor of the case, have arrested the first suspect in the case they have accompanied to the police facilities. The second suspect of the case, who has also been arrested, was immediately invited.
After interviewing the two suspects arrested (A.A.) and (L.S.), the case prosecutor has issued a ruling on their detention for 48 hours, for further procedures under the law.
