These methods are harder to apply and people resist to do because of procedure and time that this analysis requires. This fact has created a need to find ways to diagnose such things as saliva, blood samples, or urine.
According to recent research, presented at the conference of scientists and cancer discoveries, some scientists from John Hopkins University in Baltimore presented an opportunity for tumor detection only through blood samples.
The discovery of this easy method of detecting cancer creates the possibility of earlier diagnosis of cancer and, therefore, the prevention of cancer deaths.
Scientists have recently attempted to find specific proteins and biomarketers, related to blood tumors, so that their detection can be done only through a blood sample. “We have been able to identify biomarketers of 13 out of 15 tumors, including breast, intestine and liver tumors.
It still takes more work until these supermarkets can be used to detect and diagnose cancer in patients, who are in early stages. One of the biggest challenges to creating this possibility is, that blood samples can show just a few minutes of tumor and that would make the process difficult.
