The Berlin process, conceived by Chancellor Merkel, has pushed forward EU co-operation flows with Western Balkan countries, and has also created new communication circumstances between these countries. Tomorrow's meeting in Berlin is useful in dictating this process.
Not only Kosovo and Serbia, but other Western Balkan countries also have much work to do institutionally.
Kosovo needs the support of Germany and France, now as the EU's empty countries. As he needs strong partnership with the US and the United Kingdom to reach the final agreement with Serbia.
The LDK, as the biggest party in the country, has clearly expressed the need for a stable agreement, as it has been and it is clear that it will not support any agreement affecting Kosovo's borders, citizenship declared with the February 17th 2008 Declaration of Independence, the country's unitary character, and which is dangerous for the region and wider.
When Kosovo is clear in its attitudes, and I think the overwhelming part of the subjects is clear, it's easier for Berlin and Washington to facilitate our work and our friends. IM
