Lived for 20 years with his wife, the Court forbids him from having sex

A specialised judge will soon decide whether a man will be allowed to continue to have sex with his wife who has lived with him for 20 years.

The woman has difficulty learning, and council officials have claimed there is evidence that her current mental state does not make it possible to decide whether or not to approve a sexual act.

Chiefs of public services responsible for taking care of him have asked the Protection Court, where cases involving people lack the capacity to make decisions to investigate the case.

Judges representing the unnamed council have suggested that the judge would issue an order to ban sex with his wife so as to prevent her violation.
