Infrastructure and Transport Minister, at the same time AAK deputy chairman Pal Lekaj, does not believe there will be early elections this year.
In this interview given to the newspaper “The new age”, he has said he sees no reason for the country to go to early elections.
Lekaj has even said that this government will carry its constitutional mandate to the end, stressing that Kosovo has a weak opposition that is making more noise and is not arguing with criticism of the government.
The AAK's deputy chairman has said that this party will never provoke new elections, even though they are competing.
We never intended to go to the elections and break the contract, but the AAK has a 100 percent increase in electorates. We will be serious to the end and we will respect the” agreement, Lekaj has said.
He has denied that there is a cooling of reports between Chief Parliamentary Kadri Veselin and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
Lekaj, who has recently received the two coalition leaders in his context, has said the reports of the chief parliament and prime minister are excellent.
