As the statement announces, Kosovo Parliamentary Deputy Vjosa Osmani has received the most votes in this election by a secret vote, thanks to the Kosovo delegation's great commitment made up of Deputy Doruntine Maloku, Geevahire Izzak and Safete Hadurgaj, which have been staying for several days in Washington DC.
In this race, besides friendly states, Kosovo has also received support from many non-recognising states.
The World Bank's Global Parliamentary Network is made up of deputies from 166 countries who have been lobbiing for elections in Bord for months. This is a huge achievement for Kosovo and the Kosovo Assembly.
Kosovo will be part of the Steering Board, which has nine members for three years.
