Kosovo, France to boost co-operation in fighting terrorism, organised crime and corruption

Through a media communiqué, it becomes known that the chief prosecutor has informed Ambassador Chabert of the job, achievement and challenges of the State Prosecutor, as well as the dedication of this institution to combating criminal acts that connect with corruption, organised crime, terrorism, freeze and sequentisation of property acquired by criminal acts, and fighting all forms of crime.
“State Prosecutor and France's Ambassador to Kosovo have agreed to boost inter-institutional co-operation between Kosovo and French justice institutions, with particular emphasis, in the fight against terrorism, organised crime, corruption and illegal migration”, the communiqué says.
Similarly, the head of the State Prosecutor's Institute has said the prosecutorial system is closely co-operating with the British project in the process of recruiting new prosecutors and electing the chief prosecutor of several prosecutors, with Ambassador Chambers encouraging the chief prosecutor to continue in the future.
On the other hand, France's Ambassador to Kosovo, Didier Chamber, has praised the State Prosecutor's work and results, as well as offered the state support that represents further assisting Kosovo's prosecutorial system in establishing efficiency in strengthening the rule of law.
