Israeli soldiers have shot a Palestinian teenager who was blindfolded and handcuffed under suspicion that he was involved in a break in public order until he tried to escape.

This shot occurred after a funeral in a Palestinian village named Tuquí, south of Bethlehem last Thursday, according to witnesses.

Photos and videos from this scene by Tuqu's residents who were filming the funeral show 15-year-old Osama al-Badan, with his hands behind his back, trying to escape at least four Israeli soldiers standing by him.

Al-Badani was shot twice, on each leg with a pistol, his father, Ali, told CNN, translates Periscopi.

Earlier in the day, a Palestinian teacher from the same village was killed in a traffic accident, and a crowd of people gathered at her funeral. After the funeral, there was a clash between Palestinians and Israeli forces on the road leading to Tuquue.

According to the IDF, the crowd had largely fired stones towards them and other cars “risking the lives of civilians and our forces”.
