Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has accused EU representative Federica Moghrini and European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn of losing one year with their statements of border correction to the EU and the Balkans.
According to him, if the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia were not discussed on this subject, perhaps it could be reached.
He made these comments when asked about the commissionary Hahn's statement, that he does not rule out the possibility to negotiate border correction if the Kosovo and Serbian sides agree.
It is a continuation of the mistake the EU is making, which has made Moghrin and the Hahn commissioner, they have lost a year to the EU and the Balkans as if they had not talked about borders and territories maybe we would have an agreement. A statement that leaves open the possibility of discussing territory and borders is continuing the wrong policy of these Europeans, who are fortunately going”, he said.
As for whether it is possible to reach an agreement this year, Haradinaj said that with this Europeans speaking about territories they are only going back.
With these Europeans talking about borders and territories, we are only going back. So we are not approaching any agreement, but we are getting late we are leaving”, Haradinaj said.
Meanwhile, asked if any agreement is offered on April 29th in Berlin will he accept as prime minister, Haradinaj said he has no negotiating mandate.
I don't have a negotiating mandate for a deal. Our parliament has voted the state delegation, but there is no question of any agreement involving territories that moves Kosovo's borders. High Representative Mogherin, as well as High Commissioner Hahn tolerating such logic, they have delayed the deal, they have delayed the Balkans, and they have delayed the EU as well as the currently”, the prime minister said.
These comments were made after the government's reviews on the 20th anniversary of the fall of the martyrs and martyrs of the village of Slovii of Lipjan.
