At the high-level forum for co-ordinating foreign donations, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj stressed that the people of Kosovo are grateful for donors and tools sent to Kosovo for 20 years.
Prime Minister Haradinaj said that thanks to this support, Kosovo is a more viable country and there is progress in the aspects of reforms as well.
Haradinaj also had a message for donors.
“Do not be disappointed by any concessions there may be in Kosovo, or do not diminish support for Kosovo. You haven't created parasites but you've promoted progress”, Haradinaj said.
Haradinaj, among other things, promised his government would share tools for the Nore Dame cathedral, which burned days ago.
European Integrations Minister Gift Hoxha stressed how the newest and most pro-European state is implementing the SAA to pave the way for European integration.
“Of course we have challenges in front of us like any state in the world, but we've been aiming for the means of donations to be destined and implemented in adequate projects”, Hoxha stressed.
EU Representative for Kosovo Nataya Apostolova said EU donations, which are about 100m euros a year, are destined for rule of law, for economy, for education, for agriculture and energy. These donations have really helped citizens' lives in Kosovo. This forum is an opportunity to see future achievements and planning”, Apostolova said.
