At the Berlin Summit, it will try to promote Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, currently in the blockade. It has not yet turned dawn on the agenda, and it is not known whether the president and prime minister of Kosovo will be introduced with a stance about dialogue. But in the Government of Kosovo, they do not expect any eventual agreement.
So far, Thaci and Haradinaj have presented versions that are at odds with each other, and for that they have crashed several times. The prime minister has exasperated relations with the president even because of the 100 per cent tax on Serbian goods, which Haradinaj has in some cases said is holding to preserve the limits of February 17th 2008.
Dialogue is not the main topic intended to put Prime Minister Haradinaj on discussion at the Berlin Summit. He has warned of addressing the visa liberalisation issue, the table where 10 leaders from the Western Balkans will be invited. However, Government spokeswoman Donjet Gashi has said the prime minister will be available to discuss all topics.
The prime minister has already expressed the position that it is for dialogue, which results in recognition. All topics, including free trade”, can be discussed in this dialogue, she said.
