The two state leaders, Hashim Thaci and Ramush Haradinaj, participated in the academy.
In addition to the state leaders who took issue, there was the daughter of one of the victims of this massacre, Lindita Morina.
She remembered with pain this tragic event.
Morina urged all state leaders to reflect on the past and seek justice for crimes caused by Serbian forces.
On the other hand, she asked for work and opportunities for young people to forward the trust of the fallen.
Morina also said we seek support from representatives of institutions to continue life in Kosovo.

Our village, April 1, 1999, remained with 105 orphans, orphans of various ages, when I am one of them. It's hard to imagine an orphan's dreams, it's hard to imagine how an orphan will create life when he lacks his strongest arm, which is his father. The ones that made it possible for us to have dreams of living, to live in our country, were our mothers. It was those mothers who faced all the challenges that life challenged, they taught us not to mourn, not to lose our heads, but to move forward, being proud of our parents, who are the cornerstone of our country, that love and devotion for our homeland are their real estate. These 20 years were by no means easy for mothers and women who were left without men. It was years of many challenges, economic, educational, and emotional. From the absence of a tomb to weep with our loved ones to the questions that children posed for their parents. All of this associated with the pain constantly caused by the return of broken bones from Serbia. After 20 years, the pain in my village has become even more severe, with the return of part of the bones. Parts of the broken bones of the 10 members of our village, who were once buried, mean the pain pronounced for us all. Never forget the pain of families that still don't know about their families. So after these 20 years, full of challenges, pain, and sacrifice - all people, especially the families of the fallen. We demand that our state reflect on the past and the shed blood, seek justice for crimes committed in Lübenic and the entire territory of Kosovo. And work on creating and developing opportunities for the young people of our country and bringing their trust to the site of the fallen and not violating their blood. Today after 20 years of honour, especially honored you representatives of state institutions, we ask you to see us. Only from the village of Lübeniq are 105 orphans, but from around Kosovo how many orphans are there? The youngest living today is 20 years old. Now we've grown up, we're looking for your support, to continue our life in this country. Because no one else deserves, so that life can be created in the place for which our fathers shed the blood to be free today. You remember the fallen, every day and not just the anniversary. Because by not forgetting the past, the future is also built. Thank you. ”
