French President Emanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will make efforts to restore dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia at today's Berlin Summit, whose reports are the worst in the last 20 years, writes French AFP, It's Periscope.
“We want to transfer the historical experience of restoration (of v.j) and co-operation between Germany and France, which can be a historical context for the Balkans”, the French Presidency has said before the start of the Berlin Summit, Periscopi writes.
“Considering the recent disagreements that have occurred between Belgrade and Pristina, Belrin aims to set his next course”, writes the French press.
The German government, on the eve of the summit, has talked about exchange of views” so that it can continue on in promoting the peace and stability of the region, with particular emphasis, to find ways of restarting dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo”, writes AFP.
At today's summit, Paris and Berlin have invited Balkan leaders: Montenegro, Albania, Northern Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia.
The German Franco-led initiative is a contribution to negotiations, which are conducted under the leadership of the European Union for normalising reports between Kosovo and Serbia, negotiations which, at one time, are at a dead point”, the AFP writes./Periscopi/
