Amy Lappos, 43, has told “Hartford Courant” that Biden has touched him during a campaign for collection funds for the congress.
It wasn't sexual activity, but he grabbed my head” told Lappos to the newspaper.
He put his hands around my neck and dragged me near him. When she pulled me, for a moment I thought she'd kiss me”, she stressed.
Biden's secretary did not respond to Fox Nest's requests for a comment on this event.
In a statement Monday, the Biden team denied all charges against him, but said they are open to hear them.
Lappos, said the event didn't happen before the cameras and that they were on the backstage.
I never made any complaints, to be honest, I didn't say he was vice president. I was nobody. There's a line of respect. Crossing that line is not graceful. It's not perfection but sexism”, she added.
Lappos's charges came after the former candidate for the Nevada deputy, accused Biden of saying he kissed him behind his head, making him feel uncomfortable.
In a statement given to the media, the Biden team secretary said they are aware that his actions may have made Flores feel uncomfortable, but that they are not sexual harassment. They'll listen to Flores anyway with respect.
These charges come as soon as you are expected to know what Biden's decision will be about his future, whether he will run for president or not.
