Fadil Lepaja has said he has never been part of the Kosovo Intelligence Service in his life.
I've never been conscious of my life, but I've never been part of SHIK”, Lepaja said.
He made these comments after MP Dardan Molliqaj's statement, who said Lepaja has recruited Glauk Konjufca to SHIK.
He wrote on his Facebook account more about this matter:
I just learned about myself, things I didn't know about! After the journalists' interest in (no) the authenticity of the statements in the Kosovo Assembly, and to save from fatigue all interested ones, I'm using my account to state about this “issue”:
With full criminal responsibility, and moral responsibility, I declare that I have never been a member of the Kosovo Intelligence Service. ”
I'm sorry that my name is a misfit in debates, in which I have no interest and I have it beneath my dignity to get involved.
