However, money can buy you a gym membership and, it seems, thus buys you happiness.
New research by prestigious universities, such as Oxford and Yale, has shown that exercise is more important to mental health than money.
In their study, published in the medical magazine “The Lancet”, scientists have analyzed the data of over 1.2 million Americans.
Participants were asked the same question: “How often have you felt mentally bad in the past 30 days because of stress, depression or emotional problems?
They have also been asked about monthly financial revenues and physical activity.
Researchers have found that since those who exercise regularly feel sick for about 35 days a year, those who are not in sports feel bad for 18 more days.
According to experts, those who are physically active feel as good as those who earn more money a year but do not do sports.
