EU calls to Kosovo and Serbia: Stop mutual provocations

European Commission Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn has responded to the concerns of Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj and European Integration Minister Gift Hoxha, following the instructions Serbia gave to the regional youth meeting, scheduled to be held last month in Pristina, writes “Koha Ditore<1> today.
But in the return letter, Commissioner Hahn, except for Serbia, has pointed the finger at the Kosovo side for endangering regional co-operation, with decisions like the one for the tax on Serbian and Bosnian goods.
“Regional co-operation, peace and reconciliation depend on commitment that shows all sides, courage and political leadership. Unfortunately, what we have recently seen is the opposite of this is especially the anchor of action in recent months between Pristina and Belgrade, reacting with provocations to each other”, writes in Hahni's letter, dated April 4th.
Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, from EU chief in Pristina Natalia Apostolova, has also been notified with its contents.
