Turkey's Defence Minister, Hulusi Akar, stressed that good relations between Kosovo and Turkey are important, demanding that the two countries remove “quickly the FETO” barrier between them.
Turkish Defence Minister Akar meets with Kosovo Prime Minister Haradinaj
Akar, who is located in Pristina for an official visit, met with Kosovo counterpart Rrustem Berisha.
The Turkish Defence Minister was hosted at the Kosovo Ministry of Defence at an official ceremony.
After the ceremony, the two ministers held face-to-face meetings, while then chaired the meeting between the delegations.
Berisha, thanking Turkish Minister Akar for his visit, underlined friendship between Turkey and Kosovo. He stressed that Turkey has always been close to them and expressed hope that co-operation between the two countries will increase even more.
Meanwhile, Akar stressed the importance of co-operation between the two countries. Turkey's defence chief argued that bilateral visits will further develop the already good relations and that military, political and defence industry co-operation should continue by increasing.

Akar also paid a visit to northern Macedonia yesterday, where he met with senior state officials.
