A million euros that were separated from the Government of Kosovo during yesterday will not come to the aid of farmers who lost much more in the aftermath of the flooding,
Earlier it had been reported closely on what damage nature had done to these farmers in Rahovec.
The onem euros that were separated from the Haradinaj government are not even close to the amount demanded by the municipality of Rahoveci.
Based on estimates made on the ground, the damage caused amounts to over 5m euros.
A similar sum was asked by the Rahovec Community for the Government of Kosovo.
The director of Agriculture in this municipality, Berat Duraku, confirmed this about the news.
Although he says they are pleased that the government has finally shared a sum on the issue, Duraku hopes other means will be shared for compensation of the damage.
And Haradinaj also believes this will not be the last time the government he leads shares funds on the issue.
The tools, which were separated from the reserve spending category, already enjoyed the mayor of the municipality, Smajl Latifi, who also comes from Prime Minister Haradinaj's party, AAK.
“We will be at the side of farmers and will actively seek and work together with our Government and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to find new opportunities to repay our damaged farmers”, he wrote in his post.
And while the next compensation from the Kosovo government is not known when it will happen, it was this institution that was highly criticised for spending resources from the reserve expenditures category.
In this case, even the session in the Kosovo Assembly was held.
