Deputy Prime Minister Gashi visits Zara's Arbes, vows to support their projects

Gashi with the head of the Zaara Arbre Association, Mrs. Maximiljana Barančić and other community members talked about the beginning of the Kosovo Government's co-operation and support for community assistance there.
Deputy Prime Minister Gashi pledged support for the archobrash Association's projects in order to preserve the language and culture of Zara, as well as further functioning of the association they lead.
Mrs. Maximiliana expressed happiness in the interest of the Government of Kosovo, adding that Zara's Arbere language is on the wane, so it says that common and concrete initiatives are needed to ensure that this ancient and unique culture, which survived more than 350 years, is still preserved by new generations.
In this regard, the Diaspora Ministry will finance some concrete projects that will help preserve the cultural and Arabic heritage.
Deputy Prime Minister Gashi invited representatives of Zara's Arbeer Community to join the manifestations in honour of Italy's Arberean Day, which will be held at the beginning of May in Kosovo and where representatives from about 50 Italy's Arab municipalities are expected to participate.
Deputy Prime Minister Dardan Gashi expressed gratitude to the people and the Croatian state, who contributed to the survival of the ancient language and culture for centuries!
