The head of the Skyeraj municipality, Bekim Jashari, has hosted today foreign investors -- Bern Christensen and Klaus Jacobsen from Denmark -- as well as Albanian businessman Naim Kadishan, where the discussion topic was construction of the tobacco factory, a project worth about 7m euros, while the number of workers is estimated to be between 2,500 and 3,000.
Mayor Jashari has taken them to Krishec, near the pool, where the municipality plans to divide land, as it owns 3.5 hectares, for the construction of the factory, which will also be in use of the land for tobacco planting.
During the discussion with investors, Chairman Jashari has promised full security for the implementation of this million project, stressing that it is in the interest of construction citizens of the factory, as a large number of workers would be employed.
Investors, in turn, have shown interest in investing in Skenderaj, and have been surprised at the conditions offered for investment, as well as the land which is planned to be given to use under legislation in effect, it is said in the news release of the Drinas municipality.
During the visit to Skenderaj, guests have also visited the Supervisor complex “Adem Jashari” in Prekaz, where they have homazhe at the tomb of legendary Commander Adam Jashar and martyrs of the nation.
