Chocolate, is it really healthy?

Chocolate! What love! But do we really know all about it? Does it really work well for our organism? A particular and unique answer does not exist, but if we consume it in moderate amounts, it may be part of a healthy diet in general. Black chocolate is also rich in sugar [...]
To “chmit” the multiple hypothetical benefits of chocolate is a study published by the American Heart Association. A standard piece of dark chocolate (70 95% cocoa) brings about 600 calories and contains 24 grams of sugar, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's nutrition database. Chocolate contains approximately the same number of calories, but it has twice its sugar.
It keeps diabetes out, but...
The dark chocolate is rich in flavinoids (antioxidants found in fruits, vegetables and some drinks, whose consumption seems to be linked to a lower risk of coronary heart disease), in particular a subtinty called flavanol.
Some studies suggest that chocolate or cocoa consumption is related to a lower risk of insulin resistance and hypertension, but the problem is the amount of flamingoids currently present.
An expert's Thought
If it's true black chocolate has more flavanole than other types, Alice H. Lichtenstein, professor of nutrition science at Tufts University, suggests that there is still very little to have a real beneficial effect on health”. Researchers in Brigham and Women's Hospital are investigating whether an additional 600mg of cocoa flamingoids can reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and cancer. Meanwhile, the important “is to choose the type that we prefer and eat it in moderate quantities, but only if we like”.
Making All Kinds of Chocolate
