The Central Election Commission is gathering today to hold the Certificate of mayoral candidates in the country's north for extraordinary 19 May elections.
The debate is taking place over Serbian List candidates who are the same names, with those who resigned five months ago.
Adnan Rrustemi, member The CEC, said it should not be candidates who have resigned. According to him, the former leaders, with reasons to resign, are against the Constitution and in their resignation referred to Kosovo as Kosovo's cosovo Metohija.
He said that the issue of their re- running would have to be taken into legal terms and the court decided whether they have a right to run.
But according to the other CEC member, Florian Dushi must respect the legal provisions that regulate the aspects associated with the certificates of subjects and candidates.
According to him, the CEC would be needed in full respect of the election law and not problem this matter beyond its authorisations.
At today's meeting, the CEC has approved the names of PDK and Vetevendosje candidates.
We remember that three of the candidates from the Serb List for mayors of the northern municipalities are former mayors of those same municipalities. /G. The tent.
