Former British KLA soldier Jon Harrison has admitted not to know Albanian.
This fact has even made him feel bad, and that's how he's looking for Albanian teachers in the country where he lives, Shrewsbury Telford, Wales.
“A has any Albanians near Shrewsbury Telford, Wales, who can hold me an English class. I'm willing to pay”, he wrote on Facebook.
Harrison says that non-recognition of Albanian language, even 20 years after the end of the war, is “turp” for it and “ofendim” for all of Kosovo.
I think that after 20 years, to be unable to speak the language, it is a disgrace to me and an insult to all of Kosovo”, Harrison said.
We remember that a few years ago, the Prizren municipality decided that one of its ways would name Jon Harrison.
He has also received the KLA veterran certificate as engaged in Brigade 138 “Agim Ramadani”.
Harrison constantly makes posts for Kosovo, sometimes in Albanian (translated poorly through online platform Google Translate) and in English.
