The effect of coffee on health has long been a controversial topic among health experts who study its effect and its impact on human health.
“A cup of coffee quickly spreads caffeine in the blood for 20 minutes and will circulate in the blood for more than 12 hours”, says Dr. Owen Bain, founder of the gourmet Focus consultancy. But why is coffee the first thing the body wants us to do just wake up?
Dietologist Fiona Tuck says 80% of the population lack magnesium and that could be the answer to any symptom that cannot be explained - from fatigue to desire for sweets and coffee.
While reasons for lack: “have many reasons for the lack of magnesium”, Tuck explained. This includes a high diet of sugars or processed food, chronic stress and regular consumption of alcohol are some of these reasons. If we don't have enough magnesium in our body, our health will be affected by giving signs of fatigue”, she added.
