Murataj, although in international research since 2013, was considered the mastermind's brain of 3 spectacular robberies in Tirana of more than 5m euros, but authorities failed to trace it over the six years.
The amount of money stolen and their location is not yet officially known. However, Minister of Internal Affairs Sander Lishaj said the money robbed may have been burned.
