Battle against Serbia, Kosovo seeks aid from Armando Duka

The Kosovo Football Federation had sought assistance from the Albanian Football Federation during its attempt to join two major football houses, FIFA UEFA. For this help, The NFF needs it back now.

FSHF President Armand Duka had been one of the most vocal for Kosovo's membership in FIFA and UEFA, the world's highest football organs. With this help, The WFF joined these two organs in 2016.

And now, even though he's a member of the U. EFA, Kosovo again needs FSHF assistance because its president, Armand Duka, is a member of the Executive Committee, the highest organisation body in UEFA.

FFK complaint

A month ago, on March 3, The FFK had published a response to the news that the so-called Serbian Football Federation in Kosovo (FSFK) had appointed President Milan Radocicin, who is wanted by Kosovo Police as suspected of killing Serbian politician in Kosovo Oliver Ivanovic.

The FSF was trying to take control of the development of football races in northern Kosovo. Because of this effort, Kosovo published a reaction stressing that it alone has the right to organise races in Kosovo.

Any tendency to establish a so-called Serbian football Federation for Kosovo to organise competitions in football is unacceptable and we consider it to be direct intervention in FFK autonomy. So, the NK will in no way allow such an illegal organisation to organise competitions on its territory”, it was written in a statement issued by the NK.

The Solution to the Problem

The president of this federation, Agim Ademi, had announced that they had complained in U. EFA. Now, Ademi made it known to Gazeta Express that despite their complaint, there was no response from W EFA, this problem is expected to be resolved soon.

“We have not received answers, but our complaint is expected to be discussed within the next meeting of the U Executive Committee EFA, where the last of its warnings for the Serbian Football Federation”, has said Ademi.

After Armand Duka was elected a member of the Executive Committee on February 7th of this year, he will be able to influence the decision that U. EFA gets it for this problem.

We have talked to Armand Duka during our meeting and clarified this problem to him as best we could”, Ademi was expressed in a conversation with the Express.

Duke and 15 other members of the U Executive Committee The EFA is expected to decide on this problem at their next meeting. This committee meets every two months, and the last meeting is held on February 7th of this year in Rome, Italy.

The FFK expects UEFA to support Kosovo on this issue, however, shows that the FSF will be unable to carry out any activity in Kosovo, despite the decision made by the European football house.

We have information that these actions of the Serbian Football Federation in Kosovo exist only on paper. They are unable to carry out activities here, especially when we realize that Radoici is wanted by our police”, Ademi added.
