US ambassador legalises with maps of Serbia without Kosovo, Serbs frustrated

A visit by US Ambassador to Belgrade, Kyle Scott, to the Zerenko Zrenjaninı elementary school has prompted numerous reactions from parents and citizens, since Scott had presented three maps of Serbia that do not include Kosovo in his lecture. As Serbian media mediums wrote, Serbian Srbija Danası, the students who have seen this have stood up and called Serbia”, while Ambassador Scott is said to have changed the lecture page, and continued legalisation as if nothing had happened.
In addition to the students, this discourse was attended by the school principal and some teachers.
Nebojsa Medic, one of her parents, has spoken about this event. Such an event, he claims, is a disgrace.
“I was angry when my son told me that during the lecture, the US ambassador had presented three maps of Serbia, and in neither was Kosovo. Only when children started shouting Kosovo is Serbia, he removed that lecture slide and continued as if nothing had happened. I can't believe this was happening in the middle of Serbia, in the middle of the school, in front of the principal and that it would go without their response and protest”, said Medic, who attended the lecture.
The Serbian newspaper writes that this parent's position was supported by other citizens, but some teachers also protested because of Serbia's maps without Kosovo.
Meanwhile, they have not commented on this issue from the “Zharko Zrenjanin) elementary school.
