New Albanian National Coach Presented

FSHF President Armand Duka has presented Albania's new coach, Edi Reja, to the media. Federation number one hopes the team will be back on track. After President Duka's random tour, coach Eddie Rey has taken word. Hi everyone, I hope we have a good cooperation. I hope [...]
Hi everyone, I hope we have a good cooperation. I hope we have a good relationship with the press. I want to thank President Duke for trusting me.
We met after the match with Turkey and came to see some players. It was not a good experience, as Albania lost. The team wasn't in maximum condition.
What convinced you to sign your objective?
I don't sign more than a year at any job. I have a contract until November 2019. I was able to train in Italy, but I said I would no longer run a national club. If a national came to me I'd consider it. I met Duke and we talked. Then he called me and said if I wanted to take Albania. I'm sorry about Panucci, who didn't get along, shot me in my long career not getting things right. I'm glad for this experience, because it's not the same as in the national club. I have to follow the players and select them. My goal is to give my best. I'm not a person who promises a lot and I think I'm gonna make a reputation. I'll try my best.
You've been working with Tara for many years, got any advice from him?
Igli Tare called me and said: What are you doing at home, run away. I'll talk to him when I get to Rome. There is Strakosha, whom I have chosen when I was there, since I've been following her since she came and accepted her. I'll meet him when I'm there.
What must Albania do to repeat itself?
I like to build a team that attacks and aggressives. This is my philosophy, and it doesn't change despite the outcome. That depends on the group at your disposal. When you're in the nationals you don't have players all the time and you have to quickly understand the situation.
For Duke
Financial, why was the choice an expert coach?
The national team is the greatest pride we have. I think we've made good choices that I believe will give us what we need. An expert coach. We have good players playing in good leagues. I think we need motivation and Mr. Rey has all these possibilities.
Cloud: The financial share has not affected me. I've been playing since I was 18, and I haven't stopped. I'm not here for the financial share, but I'm gonna do you good.
Why have you chosen a national for a short term contract?
I started with short design, since if things do not work out well for both sides why continue. If things go well, we extend cooperation. We want to qualify in Europe. Our primary objective is to do well in future challenges. This is primary, not my contracts.
You've always played with three players downtown, tell us something about the scheme?
I saw the team that played four. If we play three, we have to have security. I need to take a closer look at the players and see them closely. I've always played like that, but we have to see if we have the right players to do it.
I shouldn't change much philosophy, but we'll see. I've seen De Biasy do it a few times, and he's played three.
What role did De Biasi play that you are in Albania? Who do you consult to meet the players?
De Bias is a success story in Albania. I have a good relationship with De Bias, since we have human reports other than professional ones. Panucci a little less, we have respect, because he's younger. I talked to De Biasi and he told me great things about Albania and that's because of the good results he's had. I think I should clap for what De Biasi has done for four years. You should also commend Tramezzani, since he was my former player. I know Jimsit well, since I trusted him when he came to Italy, and he's doing good and playing at Atalanta.
How long will you stay in Albania, asking for Albanian players?
Albania is a beautiful country, why shouldn't I stay here? There are fantastic beaches. Durres is beautiful and near the Federation. I have to stay here because I have to know more about the situations around me and all my associates.
